What Does Hiring a Social Media Manager Look Like?

Updated: Oct 6, 2021

Hiring your first social media manager can be as intimidating as it is exciting. In this blog I will walk you through exactly what to expect when you hire Virtually Brooke for social media services.

First, we start with a discovery call (or a cup of coffee if your local to the Elk River area). In this Discovery call we will both have the chance to share information about our Brand and ask each other questions to determine if we are a good fit for each other. I will ask you questions like "What are your social media goals?" and "What makes you stand out from your competition?"

After the discovery call or meeting, I will send you an email with a new client proposal. This proposal will contain a custom package that I have created just for your business. It will outline the services that we discussed in the discovery call as well as pricing information.

Once you review the proposal we can make any necessary adjustments and schedule time to answer any remaining questions. After you approve the proposal and want to start services I will send you an agreement and invoice for services. Once that is all taken care of we get to the fun stuff.

You will receive your Welcome Packet, and you will be added a shared folder where you will answer a questionnaire, send me all of your brand materials and social media log ins.

When I have received all information that I need to get started I will get to work. I will create a social media strategy, which I also like to call your "growth plan". Once the growth plan is approved I will create content and load it into a content calendar when you can view it and request adjustments. You will get to see up to 4 weeks of content at a time.

Hiring a social media manager should be as stress free as possible. I do everything I can to onboard new clients quickly, easily and thoroughly. If you are interested in social media services for your business I would love to connect with you. Fill out a contact form on my website and I will be in touch with you within 24 hours.
